Timetable

Flybus operates frequent airport shuttle departures between Keflavík Airport (KEF) and Reykjavík from early morning until late at night. Select your route and travel date to see today’s live timetable, in connection with all flights.

In connection with all flights

  • For your convenience, there is no fixed schedule for Flybus from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik City Center.
  • We synchronize with every arriving flight. If your plane is late, we’ll wait.
  • Arrive at KEF and board your Flybus right outside the terminal — there’s always one waiting.
  • The journey from Keflavik Airport to BSI Bus Terminal in central Reykjavík takes approx. 45 minutes.

Departures at 15:30 and 16:30 from BSÍ Bus Terminal take place during Reykjavík’s afternoon rush hour. Traffic conditions vary greatly and can occasionally cause delays, so travel times can be longer than usual. We recommend allowing extra time if you are heading to the airport during this time.

Stops along the route

All Flybus departures to Keflavík Airport begin at BSÍ Bus Terminal in Reykjavík (shuttles from city centre stops and hotels bring passengers to BSÍ), but you can also board at three stops along the way: Hamraborg in Kópavogur, Aktu Taktu in Garðabær and Fjörukráin (Hotel Víking) in Hafnarfjörður.

Simply select your stop as the departure point when booking. Please note that the Flybus stops at these locations only when a valid reservation has been made for the specific stop. To ensure a smooth departure, be visible and ready when the bus approaches. The bus reaches Hamraborg approximately 5 minutes after leaving BSÍ, Aktu Taktu after around 10 minutes and Fjörukráin after approximately 15 minutes.
