Flybus Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Flybus aims to make cancellations and refunds as clear and straightforward as possible. Below you’ll find information on how cancellations are handled for Flybus airport transfer bookings.

Changes and Service Modifications

Flybus reserves the right to amend or withdraw services without prior notice in cases of operational necessity, weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

If a service is cancelled by Flybus, passengers will be offered an alternative service or a full refund in accordance with applicable terms.

Individual Bookings

Flybus: Keflavík Airport → Reykjavík

  • Tickets departing from Keflavík Airport are fully flexible
  • Tickets remain valid for the next available departure, regardless of flight delays
  • No cancellation is required if travel plans change before arrival

Flybus: Reykjavík → Keflavík Airport

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure are fully refundable
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable
  • No-shows are non-refundable

Passengers are responsible for arriving at the pickup location on time.

Flybus Return Tickets

  • Return tickets include one inbound and one outbound journey
  • Once one leg of a return ticket has been used, the remaining portion is non-refundable

Flybus Hotel Transfers

  • Flybus hotel transfers must be booked at least 2 hours before departure
  • Changes or cancellations must be made more than 24 hours before departure
  • Missed Flybus pickups are treated as no-shows and are non-refundable

Group Bookings

For group bookings, minimum cancellation notice periods apply and vary by group size:

  • 11–25 passengers: 72 hours
  • 26–50 passengers: 96 hours
  • 51–100 passengers: 4 weeks
  • More than 100 passengers: 12 weeks (unless otherwise agreed)

Group booking terms may vary depending on the agreement in place.

Refunds

Refunds are not processed automatically.

Once a booking has been cancelled, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to request a refund.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3–4 business days
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take up to 10 business days for funds to appear in your account

Third-Party Services

If your Flybus ticket was purchased through a third party or bundled with another service, the cancellation policy of the original seller may apply.
